Job Overview:

The Service Department Collection and Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring efficient and timely collection and delivery of customers’ vehicles for the Service Department.

This role also includes maintaining the orderliness of the car park, running various errands, and occasionally driving for other departments as required.

The driver must ensure excellent customer service, uphold company standards, and adhere to all safety and traffic regulations.

Typical Working Hours:

As this is a casual contract, your working hours may vary depending on workload, but typically the hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 – 18:00

You will be paid on hours worked.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Collection and Delivery:

  • Collect vehicles from customers' locations and deliver them to the Service Department.
  • Liaise with Aftersales Reception staff to check in vehicles and collect paperwork on completion.
  • Return serviced vehicles to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all documentation related to vehicle collection and delivery is accurately completed.

Car Park Duties:

  • Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of the car park.
  • Ensure vehicles are parked efficiently to maximize space utilisation.
  • Monitor the car park for any unauthorised vehicles or activities and bring these to the attention of management.

Cleaning:

  • Clean and maintain the exterior and interior of vehicles as required on occasions when the Valeting Department is over booked.
  • Assist with the cleanliness of the service area and car park, including picking up litter and sweeping.

Errands:

  • Run various errands for all department, such as picking up parts or supplies.
  • Assist with transporting items between departments as needed.

Occasional Driving for Other Departments:

  • Provide driving services for other departments when requested, such as picking up VIP clients or transporting staff to different locations.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s Licence: A clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes.
